1.6 Rationalising Denominators

Understanding the rules to rationalise denominators. If a fraction has a surd in the denominator, it is sometimes useful to rearrange it so that the denominator is a rational number. This is called rationalising the denominator. In this lesson you learn about rationalising denominators and rationalise surds.
