7.1 Perimeter and Area

The area of composite shapes is the amount of space inside a shape composed of basic shapes put together. It is measured in square units ( 〖cm〗^2,m^2,〖mm〗^2,,m2, etc.). In this section, we learn about rectangles, parallelograms, triangles, area of triangle, area of parallelogram, compound, area of square, perimeter, using formula area of trapezium, perimeter of composite shapes, area of composite shapes, area and perimeter of trapezium.
